Teocah Dove currently serves as the Communications and Visibility Advisor for the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) Technical Assistance Programme for Sustainable Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC). In this role, Ms. Dove holds responsibility for leading the implementation of the TAPSEC Communications & Visibility Strategy across the CARIFORUM region. Ms. Dove’s work also includes collaborating with TAPSEC strategic and implementing partners to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the region’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency communications programming.
With 10 years’ experience in the development sector, prior to joining the TAPSEC team, Ms. Dove’s most recent undertakings included serving as a consultant in the spheres of policy development, communications and engagement, innovation and ICT, for development organisations such as the Caribbean Development Bank and the FHI 360 | USAID – PEPFAR-supported LINKAGES Project. She also served as a Technical Expert and the Vice Chairman of the CARICOM Secretariat Technical Oversight Committee of the Crime and Violence Prevention and Social Development Project.
A British Chevening scholar, Ms. Dove holds an MSc in Gender and International Relations from the University of Bristol, a BA (Hons) in Media and Communications from the University of Greenwich and an AAS in Journalism and Public Relations from the College of Science Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago.
