Overview

This training exposes participants to techniques and information on evaluating renewable energy technology projects for access to financing using multiple approaches. The sessions will explore the risks and framework that renewable energy financing operates as well as practical approaches to encouraging and facilitating the uptake of these investments through participating institutions in the workshop. Additionally, the learning gained through the training will enable participants to adequately evaluate RE/EE projects and establish the framework for project success and bankability. This training demonstrates the value of managerial decision-making relative to financing flexibility and options to clients.

A Green Energy Financial Tool Kit (suite of software tools) to evaluate the bankability of investment projects for different RE and EE technologies will be presented.
