Sparkle Prentice

Sparkle Prentice is the Policy, Regulations and Resilience Advisor for the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) Technical Assistance Programme for Sustainable Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC) where she holds responsibility for the Policy component within the Programme for the CARIFORUM region. She supports the CARICOM Energy Programme in accelerating the implementation of the Caribbean Sustainable Energy Roadmap and Strategy (C-SERMS). Ms Prentice advises on the implementation of policy and regulatory frameworks that foster renewable energy and energy efficiency development at the national level in member states through a collective, regional approach.

She holds a Master of Engineering in Sustainable Energy and has experience in the small island context in electricity and fuel sector regulation and oversight, policy development and implementation, project and contract management, regulatory reform, as well as past experience in the administering of energy efficiency target schemes.
