Simon Zellner

Mr Simon Zellner started his professional career in Germany as an energy auditor in 1995. After 10 years of practical working, he graduated in European Energy Business. From 2008 to 2010, Simon worked as a consultant for utilities in Germany at Thüga AG focusing on investment-grade calculation for biomass power plants, and energy pricing for gas and heat. Since 2010, Simon has been working as an advisor for energy efficiency and ESCo market development with GIZ. In May 2016, he started his work in the Caribbean with the GIZ REETA project and was responsible for the financial service component. Since August 2018, Simon has held the post of Programme Leader for the “Climate Resilient and Sustainable Energy Supply in the Caribbean” project which includes an additional financial allocation for the “Technical Assistance Programme for Sustainable Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC)” from the European Union.
